from the Canadian Museum of History
Location: Special Exhibitions Corridor of the Canadian Museum of History
Dates: Until January 8, 2023, before long-term installation in the Canadian History Hall
The Canadian Museum of History is proud to highlight the exceptional achievements of Autumn Peltier, from Wiikwemikoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island, through a special display of material connected to her international advocacy for clean water rights. This material — which will be featured in a temporary display before a longer-term installation in the Canadian History Hall — includes the dress she wore for her address to the United Nations General Assembly in March of 2018 (at the age of 13).
