Additions to the Great Lakes Treaty Timeline

December 1, 2022 by chass_wp-admin

Over the course of Ontario Treaty Recognition Week (November 6-12) and Native American Heritage Month (November), GRASAC published new entries in its Great Lakes Treaty Timeline. The Timeline now features 180 negotiations, ten of which now feature detailed records to facilitate further research.

During November, new records were published for the Williams Treaties by Carlie Manners, for the Robinson Huron Treaty by Sheila Wheesk, and for Treaties 18, 19, and 20 by Amelia Healey – three of our excellent Research Assistants. Current GRASAC Research Assistants – Mina Ali, Sheila Wheesk, Danielle Garcia Jones, Zihao Li, Carlie Manners, and Bradley Clements – are continuing to develop records for the Timeline.

If you would like to contribute to the Timeline or flag an error in it, please be in touch!
